In the beautiful province of Limpopo, in the heart of the
Waterberg Nature Reserve, at only three hours drive from
Johannesburg, a unique small-scale project is being developed,
offering you the opportunity to become the owner of an African
home in the African bush. A fascinatingly beautiful spot in a
malaria-free area, where “safe game” wanders freely amongst the
chalets: kudu, giraffe, zebra, warthog and hundreds of kinds of
birds accompany you when you explore the park, with its
extensive variety of plants and trees, by foot or on a mountain
bike. And you have immediate access to adjacent Welgevonden Game
Reserve where you can view the Big 5: leopard, elephant, lion,
rhino and buffalo.
Kololo Game Reserve strives to give guests a once in a lifetime
African wildlife experience, whilst upholding the African way of
life by empowering our local community and protecting the
wildlife. Kololo offers its guests a wide range of activities,
such as game drive, ranger- and photography courses. There are

Your own chalet
Kololo Game Reserve gives you the opportunity to become part of
our dream. In a small scale project a number of new, luxury
chalets is offered for sale, to be built in complete harmony
with the surrounding environment, maintaining the African look
and feel. The chalets will be fully furnished and fully
decorated.
Three-, four- and five-room chalets
You can choose from three- and four-room chalets, property size
1.000m2, with thatched roof and a living area of 120m2 and
150m2. The five-room chalets are on 3.000m2, and have a living
area of 250m2.
The chalets have a living room, large covered terrace and
private storage. All bathrooms are fully equipped with an
outside shower as option.
The chalets have their own water, electrical and sanitation
facilities, private phone and will be fully furnished and
decorated.
Rental
Kololo offers you the possibility to rent out your chalet.
Kololo Operating Company will take optimal care of your property
and will organise the complete rental of your property.
Home Owners Association
All home owners become member of the Kololo Owners Association.
This body will be responsible for maintenance of the reserve,
chalets, the grounds and the game. A fixed fee for this purpose
will be charged per chalet.
